Our most ambition project to date, running a school. We started a formal three year program for local students, and our first year had 22 students.

Assistance from Equilibrium Fund and Rainforest Alliance
Volunteers and students from the School of Natural Resources planted 2000 breadnut trees in Nueva Juventud, and nearly 2000 trees in CALVANI natural reserve.

In October 2009, students from the School of Natural Resources gave a tour of the Nueva Juventud Ecological Park to 800 local students.
