Welcome to the Volunteer
Petén home page. Here you can find all the information
necessary to plan your stay in the jungle of Guatemala,
Central America
as a
volunteer,
Spanish student, or adventurer. This site also has all our
information on our ecological park, Spanish classes,
international group
and school projects,
environmental education project, other community projects, and general
information on San Andrés, Petén. For any additional information

After 10 years of labor
(2002-2012), Volunteer Peten will be ending its activities in
Guatemala in March of 2012. We encourage any potential
volunteers to take advatange of our volunteer opportunity before
this date, and appologize to those who planned to join us after this
date.

to San Andrés by bus and
call us at
5711-0040 for your free
tour of the park,
our projects, and Spanish School. Buses leave every hour from
the Santa Elena market.
